Self-care tips for women in daily routine

As we got many roles to do in our life its very important to take our of our well-being physically, mentally and emotionally. Many things can get in the way of us taking care of ourselves, including family caregiving responsibilities, work, social commitments, and more.

But, ultimately, when we do take care of ourselves and our needs is when we’re best able to show up for all of the other people and responsibilities in our lives. There are infinite ways you can practice self-care. Here are some ideas to get you started.

1. Daily start your morning with exercise. Any type of exercises you can choose it can be body weight training, normal weight training, stretching exercises, yoga, swimming, cycling or walk.
2. Always eat your food on time. Your food plate should include all vitamins and minerals. Try to take protein rich diet.
3. Soak yourself daily in morning sunlight for at least 20 to 30 mins to have your vitamin D does.
4. Whenever you work in kitchen try not to stand for longer time. You can use table and chair for many chores such as cutting vegetables, making dough, rolling chapatti etc. If follow this, it will reduce stress on your knees and back.
5. Don’t lift heavy weight by forward bending your back. Instead bend your knees and lift the object.
6. Drink plenty of water in a day. Avoid drinking water in standing. Now a day many of us just take a bottle and drink water in standing. Sit where ever you can and slowly sip in water.
7. Take adequate sleep. Getting enough good-quality sleep keeps your immune system running at its best to fight off infections and stress. Our brain also need sleep to work in good way.
8. Stay active as much you can. Staying active keeps your body healthy physically, keeping your risk of chronic health issues down and lowering your chances of an acute illness.
9. “Think positive be positive” is really play important role to keep your emotional well-being and for stress management. Say positive things to yourself and motivate others too which makes positive aura around us.
10. Take a break from routine. Go to small vacation with family and friends.
11. “Learn to say no” when you are tired and need to take rest don’t exert.
12. Have your vitamins and mineral supplements during pregnancy and after delivery according to doctors’ advice. So that it will maintain calcium levels in body and prevent early degenerative changes and symptoms of weak bones.

So as a to improve quality of your life you can follow above tips. Do consult with your doctors, physiotherapist, yoga therapist and dietitians whenever needed.
