1. What is Bell’s Palsy Rehab program by Health Q?

Bell’s palsy rehab program by Health Q is an online facial rehabilitation program for people suffering from facial paralysis or bell’s palsy due to various causes. A rehabilitation program designed by Physio Meghana Dave, aims to help patients work towards attaining optimal movements that get impaired due to multiple impacts of facial paralysis. This program uses the principles of evidence-based methods of facial rehabilitation techniques that are time-tested and used by facial rehabilitation experts in major developed countries.

2. How does it function?

Bell’s palsy rehab program is not a medical but a physical movement-based program. The methods used are completely non-invasive and do not involve any kind of drug administration or use or any kind of electrical equipment. The program basically comprises of demonstration and teaching of guided exercises and manual techniques to combat effects on facial muscles and movements.

Once an individual reaches out to us he/she gets into a one-time assessment call with Physio Meghana Dave. Based on the assessment the treatment program would be suggested to the individual. The patient can choose from the treatment packages available or can opt for a request-based one-on-one consultation with Physio. Meghana Dave. The package designed for the duration of 1 month, 3-month, 6-month and 1 year incorporated monthly online one on one assessment cum exercise demo session with Physio Meghana Dave followed by a home exercise program for one month.

3. Who all are eligible for the program?

People suffering from any kind of facial paralysis due to any cause ranging from Bell’s palsy, Ramsay Hunt syndrome, stroke, Brain tumor, facial paralysis post-surgery, facial paralysis due to brain injury can take up this program.

4. Are there any physical services provided in this program?

We are just available with 100% online support; no field visits or offline support can be provided in lieu of COVID management.

5. What is the duration of these Physiotherapy sessions?

You can choose the duration of the program that you want to avail yourself. The package available is for 1 month, 3-month, 6 month, and one year.

6. Who will be providing the service in program?

The online consultation service program is managed by our Founder - Physio. Meghana Dave (a leading Neuro Physiotherapist and a Youtuber and her team on case-to-case basis.

8. Do we need to show any prescription to avail the service?

Yes, once you register, your prescription and past medical history details will be required for the assessment and to maintain a medical health record with us.

9. Do you provide electrical stimulation?

This program does not involve the application of any electrical modality, we do not prescribe any machines, any medicines, or any invasive procedures.

10. What is the difference between Assessment call and 1:1 consultation?

12. How can I reschedule or cancel my session?

Rescheduling: This can be done once it is approved by Physiotherapist and as per the available date and time slot on our scheduler for your next appointment. So, you will be able to reschedule the appointment in case of emergency or a valid and appropriate reason well informed to our Physiotherapist.

Cancellations:
Scenario 1:
Once registered you are not entitled to ask for cancellation or refund of registration fee.
Scenario 2:
Cancellations for an active package user shall be allowed just in case of emergency well informed to the Physiotherapist and shall be followed-up with our company’s refund policy.

13. What all languages the doctor will be well-versed with?

We prefer English as our official language to communicate with the patients. Subtitles over videos shall be provided in Hindi as well.

14. Will it be one-time service for one person?

Yes, one person at a time can only avail of the service for once with their specific details like name, email id, contact no., and address.

15. Will there be any medication or invasive procedures involved in the program?

No, we don’t practice or prescribe any sort of medication or invasive procedures during our online consultations. Complete online support through 1:1 consultations and videos are provided throughout the patient journey.

16. Do I get a guarantee of complete 100% recovery from this program?

100% recovery “as it used to be” can hardly be expected. In theory, this is possible, but to achieve these results, the duration of the rehabilitation program will be excessively long (up to a year, sometimes more).

We provide customized video consultations and strictly follow the privacy control guidelines. We don’t share our video consultations with any third party or publish testimonials without the patient’s consent - Privacy Policy.

22. How do I get to know about my recovery insights?

Before the monthly one-on-one sessions, you would be required to submit your images that would allow the therapist to evaluate the recovery insights.

23. Do I have the access to download the video from my end?
